Destroking the raptor?

I always thought destroking was reducing the rod length.U get more power from a longer rod or what some people call stroked. Ive never heard of destroking wouldnt that make it lose power?????

By destroking the raptor motor you are allowing it to rev out to a much higher RPM (hence less gear shift time loss etc.ect.). would you prefer to carry 60hp to 9200rpm or 13000rpm. The bigmissing link to that set up at this time is a CDI that will allow you to get around the rev limiter. "HELP ME OUT GUYS IF I'M NOT EXPLAINING THIS CORRECT"
