Just looked at it,with 46 minutes left, the price is at 510 bucks, plus 26 bucks to ship. MAN, there are some real idiots out there, for about half that, you could have a Durablue or some other, wider axle.

There are a lot of morons on Ebay and new one is born every couple minutes. I saw someone bid $126.00 for a set slightly used paddles. In DW magazine I found an add (Rocky Mountain) that had the same set "Brand New" for $118.00. Dealing with eBay you go by the persons interpetation of what condition the items in "Run only once", perfect, Etc. You won't know exactly what condition though till they show up at your house. If when they arrive there not so clean/nice, your deal goes further into the toilet, IE: their value is lower. Also when people bid they don't remember to factor in the shipping costs, so if they typically end-up bidding/paying normal retail, and then when the shipping costs are added they actually will be paying more than they could have got the stuff for at the shop down the road. Plus when bought from a private party there's ususally no guarranty. Typically the people that over-bid are ebay rookies that get caught-up in the bidding frenzy. They develop the "Oh.. they won't out-bid me" attitude and so end up over over-bidding just to be the "High Bidder". Typically these people have 0-1 feedback and are green as the mountain pastures in spring. While their entitled to bid, it sure frustrates the average joe that's done his homework and thereby knows the value of the particular item(s). Just my .02 cents... didn't mean to rant on if it seems that way!

Almost all those BS bids are from sellers friends bidding the price up for the seller i'm always leary of a auction when a bidder with 0-5 rating bids..

With out a dought that is a fake bid. There is no way a person will give that kind of money for a used axle.
