wut do reed cages do? and does any have a bore kit in there blaster, if u do does it run good. and does it give u alot more power?

 

The reed cage is the Diamond shaped piece that your reeds bolt to. The cage sits in between the intake boot and the cylinder. The reeds act as a valve in a two stroke. When the engine takes in air, they open. They close as the piston pushes air against them and into the intake. You can have your stock cage modified, and it will flow as much as most aftermarket.
