One 686 Raptor + a paved road + stock gearing & tires + one GPS system = 79.8 mph.

If I would have known I was that close to 180 I would have leaned forward or farted or something to gain me the extra .2 mph.

OOPS...............It was late and I was more tired than I thought. How does 79.8 sound???
A little better than 179.8 ............... That was my pulse!

Do you mean to say that you only gained about 5 mph over stock with a bore kit and full exhaust? That's not too impresive considering my DS would pull 82 mph when bone stock and 22" tires. That's confirmed with a Magellan 315 GPS on a frozen lake with studded tires. Was the Raptor engine over revving? Have you tried a run with taller gearing or tires? I sure hope you could get more out of the machine considering the money you have spent in mods!!

It doesn't matter how much motor you have. You can only go as fast as your gearing will let you.

When I had a 14 tooth sprocket up front I was able to 82mph. At that time I was only piped and jetted.

Right now I think I am jetted on the rich side. I am going to be bring it down a little and I'll give it another go.

I may not have gained a lot on the top end, but I get there a heck of a lot faster. I have a mid-range cam, so that is where I have seen a majority of improvment. If I was to put the 14 tooth back on, I pretty confident I could get REAL close to 90 mph.
