Lets not even talk about the possible bad weather we might encounter.

Glamis dunes in Cali. The weekend of January 18th and 19th. The Wars officially are on the 19th though.

Come on out, the more the merrier!!

There will fighting (could start anytime), topless women (hopefully all the time), quad racing (The entire time) and a whole he!! of alot of drinking (between racing and while lookin at)..
I am confident it will be worth my 4200+ mile round trip.

I'm fortunate enough to live pretty close to the dunes (Glamis) - only 5-6 hrs away, but for the guys that are traveling far - It's worth every hour, every gallon of gas, and all the hassle of a long road trip to ride those dunes. Be safe on the way and RIDE HARD ! Make sure you make it over to Patton and Ogilby and see the sights.

See ya, Eric

Oh yeah - I almost forgot. After a good day of duning ya gotta head over to the Pair-a-dice bar (over by Gordons Well area-you basically ride right up to the place.) and get a "paradise burger" and a couple pitchers. It's a killer hamburger / hot dog combination sandwich that comes with the greasiest fries around. It really hits the spot.

Also, from there youre allowed to legally cross the highway (on the bridge) and go over to Buttercup - good bowls over there too. And, if you are really adventurous riding into Mexico from there is a blast. Although a little risky, the tequila shots in Algodones are only 15 min away !!

Jeeze, I'm getting pumped for the dune season !!!!
