Wolverine_4x4, I own a 2000 Red Yamaha Big Bear 400 4X4 and it kicks major @$$!! I go through some hellacious mud, I climb some really mean hills, and about anything else you could think of I've done on my Big Bear. I have a bud with a 450S, its a nice quad, but I can go more places than he can. Plus, the Big Bear ain't slow, it's one fast quad!! Hope this helps, if you have any questions email me at kgoley@hotmail.com

I would definetly go for the Big Bear. I own a 00 model Big Bear and I only ride in the mud and water. I have a buddy who owns a Honda Foreman 450 and when it comes to clearing stumps, deep mud the extra ground clearance of the Big Bear counts. Also the Big Bear has more torque and low end power. The Honda is definetly a nice 4X4 but it is a hard decision do you want to pay more for the Honda and have less or pay less for the Yahama and have more.
