Well, I decided that I am getting the Banshee. I was thinking about the 400EX, but the guys at my Honda dealer were total a$$holes so I said screw 'em. I'm getting the Banshee saturday!!!!! My Yamaha dealer was pretty happy, I'm trading in my 4 month old Big Bear 4X4, and some greenbacks, for the Banshee. This just kicks major a$$!!!! I need to ask all you Banshee owners out there a question. What should I do when I first get the Banshee to break it in well and keep it in good shape. Any regular maintenance tips you can give me? Thanx!!!

Sorry I dont own a Banshee. But I have a '99 Wolverine and a '00 Warrior. I would just like to commend you on buying Yamaha! I love Yamahas! Trust me I think you'll love your Banshee. I used to ride with some guys that had some.......well I rode BEHIND them but you know whatever works! =- ) Congrats and the rad decision! Remember Yamahaul A$$! Enjoy your ride man!

 

You shouldnt have decided just because the dealers a piece of crap. there are tons more dealers out there.

 

I didn't base my decision on the dealership, it's is just one reason. Here are some of my reasons: 1. I decided I wanted a powerful 2-stroke, 2. I've ridden my friends Banshee and I liked it much more than the 400EX, 3.My Yamaha dealer is cool, 4. I've owned 2 Yamaha's already and I know what to expect and get used to. 5. Great hill climber and jumper. Anyways, its Banshee time!! I'll keep y'all informed!!!

 

Too bad you are going for the banshee, if you could only wait about another year you could get a Cannondale FX450. Sorry to say, but this thing will eat the banshee and spit it out!

 

why did you get a big bear?

 

FX450? it's an FX400 dood. but it has 430 cc's so it should be called and FX425 or something.
