Default MY MAXIMUM SPEED

I was racing a buddy in a 95 chevrolet and I was running 90-91 side by side on my shee. This was all without the 34mm carbs, the .030 boring. w/o twin k&n's, w/o the bigger intake. I was hauling a$$ fast. now with the bigger carbs, intake,k&n's,boring, and wiseco pistons, i haven't tryed it out because i need to break it in and plus I need a stator, $160 i have to cough up, youch.

Here are my numbers on flat pavement verified with a GPS at 7000 ft Elevation:

Bone stock. 72 MPH

Added K&N and Reeds: 74 MPH

Added Toomey T5 pipes: 82.0 MPH (Revved out easily, under-geared)

15 tooth front sprocket (1 tooth above stock): 84.0 MPH (Couldn't pull max RPMs, over-geared)

Added Coolhead with 19cc domes, and +4 degree key: Haven't checked yet.

These were all done with stock tires.

Hey, Mr350X

I just noticed that you live in Murrieta, CA. I grew up there and moved away around 1980 or so. Back then there was one general store and they were just building the first bank.... I bet it's changed a lot since then.

Holy moly.. yea its changed. Im not sure of the exact population, but I think its around 50 thousand.
Murrietta and Temecula are grown together pretty much, its a nice nice area. (one of the few awsome CLEAN areas left in southern california)

Im saying that I wouldn't go that fast but if it was in my hands I probably would. Just have to make a roll cage or something . But I probably would just have to make sure there is a long a$$ straight away.

When I lived there I went to Elsinore High School for a year before we moved. I went to Murrieta Elementary school - it was K-8 and the only schuool around.I used to ride my bicycle to temecula out a LONG dirt road (it seemed long when I was a kid at least). We used to ride our dirtbikes through town and nobody cared. The general store is where everybody hung out. I remember the Murrieta hot springs were all abandoned back then - we used to ride our bicycles through the buildings and hotels and fish at the ponds... Man that was years ago.

I would like to see the town again next time i'm in California.... Lot's of memories growing up there - it was an awesome place to live.
