Default Kodiak 450 Temp. light coming on....

don't know iffen ya got it fixed but--the winch selonoid trigger/hot wire (small red wire) is probably tied into the wrong 12v circuit---yea probably blew the fan fuse---wire the trigger wire to the selonoid to the tail/headlight circuit then the winch has no voltage to the system until you need it---when you need it turn your headlight switch on ---instant winch---i'm assuming you have a warn 2000/2500--the weak link in the 2000 is the selonoid---if it stays hot/12 volts all the time --- it will fail---good luck

Thanks for the replys! I brought the Kodiak into the dealer and they found a cracked radiator hose. It was near the end, so they cut the end off, and re-attatched the hose again. They also said there was no coolant in the reservoir, but I can't understand how....I topped it up the day after it got hot, and it only took about 20ml, and there was no coolant on the shed floor....but anyway, the main thing is, it's fixed now.

By the way, when they installed the winch (Warn 2000 LB), they also installed a switch next to the handlebar to turn the power off/on so it wouldn't overheat, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks again for the reply's.
