Piped, jetted, K&N Raptor = 8, 9, or 10 paddles? (Skat-Trak Extreme Grip)
The people at Rocky Mountain ATV knew I had a Raptor but still told me I should go with 8 paddles (becuase 10 paddles are for "High Performance Machines", so I ordered the 8 paddles. But wait, isn't my Rap high performance?

(Pipe isnt on yet, neither is jet work)
But by the time I use the paddles that stuff will be on.

It is pretty much general consensus that a intake/exhausted Raptor should run 8 paddles. You can get different opinons from other people but most say 8.

Yep - the general reason 8 paddles are reccomended is "wheel speed". The 8 paddle tires allow the 4-strokes to wrap-up a bit faster and ya actually move more sand quicker with more RPMs and less number of paddles.
