OH, $#!T......MY AXLE!
#1
I just spent almost $900 fixing my banshee...(bore, re-phase crank, couple hundred bucks in wasted labor)....and I took it out to finish breaking it in on sunday. Near the end of the ride, I noticed I wasnt accelerating as quick as I should be, I looked back and I was only roosting with one wheel!!! My right hub is just spinning on my axle...its a lonestar axle with prm hubs...would it be striped splines on the axle? Anyways, if it is the axle...i know lonestar has a lifetime guarentee on breaking the axles...but what about stripping it and not having a reciept?

I don't know they would or not. It would be a tough call, due that you use Prm hubs on the Lonestar axle. If was lonestar hubs then it may be warranty.
Of the no receipt that you just want to call them and explain in a good manner and they might replace it or you are SOL!
Like I say it would be a tough call. IMO

Gotta admit thats some crap though, it says lonestar on it, where they think it came from? They know somone bought it, why should they care where or when or for how much? isint it life time? Stores ask for reciepts to make sure you dont buy something cheap at one store and bring it back for cash at their higher prices. I think lonestar makes you fill out a warranty sheet though and if you didnt your SOL. Its a lifetime warranty but they are hopeing youll sell the quad or something and there it goes.

First off......In a polite way, ask to speak to the LS manager.
Finally, if need be.......get Nasty
They claim it, they have to replace it.
It sounds like you didn't have the nuts and bolt properly tightened.
I must admit, since you are using PRM hubs, they might be sticky about it. Mabe the 2 arent made to fit together 100% and wear and tear caused something to give. LSR only claim that thier parts fit together with stock OEM parts.
Have you taken a closer look yet.....
Was it the axle....or the hub.....or the rim itself????
