Default Tips for installing new grips?

I just got some new grips for my Raptor. I had a hard enough time getting the stock ones off, but are there any tips to putting the new ones on? I got it half way and it stopped.

Try spraying just a little hairspray inside each grip. Then work fast, the liquid will help it slip on the bar, then when it dries, it will stick better too.

If you don't have hair spray, then use carb cleaner or brake cleaner, they will do....

I have replaced many grips on quads, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, etc. I use spray 9, spray it on the bars and push them on. Wait a few hours to it to evaporate. I that dosen,t work get your buddy to kick you in the nuts and when you reach your peek "pissedoffness" push the thing on. Works for me.

I use spray can paint to get my grips on. Just shoot some in the grips and slip them on. But get them where you want them cause when the paint dries they are there.

I put the new grips in a ziplok bag then dunk in real hot water for a while. Softens them up so they go on without anything.

make a small hole in the end of the grip and use an airhose. This will expand the grip and it will slide right on with no trouble.

You can always do it the old fashioned way and use grip glue. Squirt a bunch inside the grip, and it will slide really easy over the bars. The best part about it, is that when it dries it turns to rubber (at least the honda glue does), so when you need to replace grips (every 6-8 months for me), you can just slice down the old grip with a carpet knife or box cutter, peel the old grip off, and there is no mess left behind. I guess the hairspray would do the same thing. Never tried it (don't use it). A tube of grip glue is about $2, and it will last you through 3 or 4 grip changes.
