I am looking at an '88 blaster for a nephew of mine and I am wondering if there is anything to look for? Is the plastic interchangable with the new models? Is there a way to upgrade the brakes?

All the year's of plastic r interchangeable. I just saw a pare of 03' front fender's go for 61$. U can buy hydraulic brakes for it from Trenga Racing. They have all u could ever want for a Blaster. I would prolly go w/ the hydraulic brakes upgrade. There's not really nething I can think of right now to really look for.

dont sweat the brakes too much....theres more coming and will be out soon...
the only time i hate the brakes on mine is when i step off the raptor and onto the blaster, then you realize yer missing soemthing....but who knows....poor brakes may teach him to drive the turn deeper!

 

Has anyone priced what a 03 brake upgrade would be from the dealer?
