If you want a good handling quad that will smoke a 400 ex you should look into the suzuki z400. They handle great and have good power.

C-dale could be the enswer to your problems, great power and handeling from the factory, and you wont be smked by a banshee (dipends on what you buy, canibal, speed....)

You could just buy the Raptor and try it for a while like it is.

Its a pretty good ride in the woods bone stock, like mine. The trees go by pretty quick or it could be my thick glasses in making it seem like they go by fast. I am against the modification route because most people don't even have enough skill to use the machines potential stock, much less modified.

The raptor alone is not cheap, by the time you add taxes and the modifications you are talking about a lot of money for a single purpose quad.

But hey if you have deep pockets go for it.

I still will be right behind you with my stock Raptor in the woods though and one mistake and you will being seeing a thick glasses, goofy guy with a craptor on the back in front of you.

REV: you wanna slide the rears and really smoke around in the woods, get a raptor, and throw away all those radial tires!!!!!!!!!!!!get holeshot xct, 23" front, 22" rear, change front sprocket by one, and steer with all four!
thats what we do! and i'm and old fart, but i dare anybody to keep up with my youngest!!!
