I bought an exhaust on ebay for my warrior, its a cobra aluminum exhaust. Auction said "good condition". The set scew to hold the end cap in is gone. Theres a hole drilled in the bottom of the muffler (let water out?) and there is no packing in there so its WAY loud. Pretty much straight through. Says "wake up your warrior with this awesome sounding exhaust" but all I hear is a loud burble and an echo because the slip on is empty.

 

I dont know what kind of cobra your pipe is but I have a cobra jet that i bought for 50 bucks and it is more or less straight-through with a "cheese grater" around the end of the inside for a baffle. Mine sure as hell dont have a hole drilled ANYWERE though[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img].

 

Also mine is loud as all get out, the boys down in the Aledo Trailer Park can testify for me on that one.

 

It probably came that way. I believe they are like $150 NEW.

 

Ive seen repacking kits on the corba web page wich was some sheets of fiber glass cloth stuff. Im guessing that is suposed to wrap around the cheese grater and mellow the soud out. Mine sounds about the same as when I ran it with no exhast at all except it dosent the blooop echo isint so loud.

 

Forgot to say, Bandit ran into a barbwire fence in my backyard today, cut him to pieces. Also, mine is louder than his white brothers e seris with all the plates in. Sitting on mine and going I cant even hear his running. I think im going to go deaf.

 

I dont know about packing but ol' boy down the road has one on his 350x and it is louder than mine, I also used to have the baffle out. On a side note another buddy of mine has a full titanium 4 on his warrior and it aint much quiter than mine just not as raspy.
