Before my Raptor.......
I had a 2000 Honda 400ex. Raptor is quite a bit faster/moe torque, but the Honda seemed to be less of a pain in the butt. Seems like the Rap is a "one ride wonder"....Ride it once, fix something. Overall, it is a pretty good bike though; no major complaints!

Before my Raptor.......
I had a 98 Blaster, I was too big for it in 98 when I bought it. I wanted a quad bad and it was all I could afford at the time, then 6 months later I joined the army and was gone for 3 years. I came back and it was even smaller than I remembered lol so I decided it was time for something bigger and badder

Before my Raptor.......
I'm with RaptorRyan, I had a Polaris Scrambler 400 that was modified out the whazoo. It was nice, not too bad, did wheelies really good, crappy jumper though. Never had a problem with the engine, but The swingarm came loose, chain broke, axle bent, yada, yada, yada. Then came my DS650, It was so perfect for me at my 115lbs, and 5ft 7in tall. I loved it, rode wheelies, jumped it, it never broke. Then I went to 14mins house on June 29th, and I rode a Raptor. my DS seemed to gain 500 pounds in 20mins. The Raptor fits me so much better. I ride it for a while, then get back on my DS, and it is really hard for me to steer. My friends and I used to make fun of the Raptor, now when I have buddies over, we always get in fights about who gets to Ride the Raptor. BUT, I will admit that the Raptor does seem to have a lot of problems, I like working on quads, and I have got to say, this is the only quad that I am tired of working on. I didn't have this much trouble with my polaris. Something's always leaking, or loose, or out of alignment. But I think, since it is so much more manuverable that we tend to ride it harder. DS is great for jumping, and open riding, but not for this 115 pounder.
