They do it on motorcycles. they have even put a big block in a street bike.

 

SBC might work on a Short Bus, since the frames are longer. It would be a tight fit in a banshee frame with the tranny.

 

Heck with that, SBC = poo [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] get a RX-7 engine, how many times I got to say this, you can get 600hp easy and its friggen tiny. But anyone who puts that in a fourwheeler will die, maybe a bike, but a fourwheeler loses stability at speed because of poor areo dynamics and small tires/small wheel base. Motorcycle gains stability because of gyroscopic forces exerted by the large spinning wheels aligned with its lateral center of gravity.

 

Well said Jackal, yes those little Rotary engines are awesome and compact. You could take an earlier Carb. model and swap it into a bike.

 

I can't help but put this in here, sorry. We just built a new banshee motor that made 123 hp to the rear wheels, no squeeze. I can't say how big it was at this time but it wasn't a 350. When we finish this project we are expecting 145hp to the rear wheels minimum. Needless to say we are pleased.

step 1 remove gas cap
step 2 slide a cannondale under gas cap
step 3 tighten gas cap your all set .
