No offense to u belivers, i ran my warrior about 2 hours then it was hammer down. break it in like ur gonna ride it is what weve always belived.

Yea I've heard that too, But you don't live at the North pole!!
If you didn't give it enough warmup time you could have scored the rings.
Did you check the end gap on the rings before you installed it??
Did you hone the cylinder?
Do you have any compression?

 

Why did you replace your piston??

Did you re-use the rist pin clip???

I have seen exactly what you speak of,,,on blasters.

 

REALLY??? what did they do?? o i took out my piston and tehre was a crack in it.. juss to much wear an tear it was about time it was an early 01 so.. i replaced the piston and the piston rings (the 2 that go around it) and tahts it.. WHAT DID THE OTHER PPL DO?!?!?

 

nooooo i didnt hone my cylinder.. it has compression now even though it doesnt even com eclose to runnign.. wheni kick u can feel it come out my silencer.. or if i take off the plug i can feel compresiion there...and no i didnt check the end gap on my rings?? should i be doing all those things??? wut do you guys think happend?thnx moose.. i havnt taken it apart since i replaced the piston and it died on me. im hoping to ge to that this weekend.

 

Your piston had a crack in it? If that's the case, you're probably gonna have to bore cause the cyl. wall is shot. Then buy another piston and rings to fit... .030 etc.

 

was the antifreeze/water ratio right when you refilled the readiator on that aircooled blaster.lol

i dunno there was no peice in there .. bouning around.. and it ran fine when i put that new piston in.. for about 5 minutes..
