my pipe had a red glow to it so i went a Main jet size but it is still glowing sorry guy i`m new to 4-stroke jetting
only mod is a pro-flow kit with foam filter

Glowing at idle? WHEN!!! Since you post you own a Rap.....I will assume (lol) you are running lean while idling. Increase the pilot jet too a 27.5 and adjust too max vacuum via the vacuum port on the left intake runner.

 

Gary I was planning on upping the pilot thanks for the jet number wheni can get to the bike shop in the morning but in reference to ajusting the vacuum are these on each carb on the lef side of the carbs(i`ve got them in fornt of me)
thanks for the help, i can jet a 2 stroke perfectly but this is the first 4 stroke i have ever owend/worked on

 

My pipe glows after idling for about 3-4 min.

Trinity said to use the stock pilots so I did...should I try jetting them up a notch to 25's or should I go 27.5's?
