I got my Banshee!!

the thingys on the carbs are TORS and definately scrap them
the YAMALUBE 2R is a much better oil than the honda ,for the Banshee that is
i always run the Yamalube and my neihbor ran the Honda when his rings went he asked me to rebuild it for when i tore it down the pistons were covered with soot,i've never seen this with the Yamalube...
also your clutch will work better if you use cycle oil like GOLDEN SPECTRO or MAXIMA in your case instead of car motor oil, they have anti-friction modifiers in them and cycle oils don't
good luck

Sounds like I need to go get some Yamalube 2R when I run out of my Honda oil, I have 2 more quarts. Thanks for the tip on the cycle oil too, I was going to use car oil. I don't have a manual, but I'm planning on getting one through a Yamaha dealer. Me and my buds played in the dirt last night a bit, I was throwing rooster tails at least 20 or 30ft behind me.
