Default Raptor Ignition

My Raptor has a mystry problem. It cuts out after 1/4 throttle like you momentarly shut the key off. Ive checked the parking brake rev limiter, coil,Plug,Volt reg box, and the carbs for loss of fuel. after checking the plug thats not a problem because it looks rich. (ie not firing the plug). I used all of these parts off my buddys 03 Raptor but the Ignition Box is different and I couldn't swap that out. Has any one lost an Ignition box before? Im ready to kill this thing please help!!!!!!!

Sounds like the problem I had about 2 months ago. mine would run, shut off, run, shut off, at anything over 1/4 throttle. it also had a hard time starting and idleing, a little choke helped.

My parking break sensor had been disconnected for months when this problem started.

I checked the spark and it looked ok, maybe a little weak, changed the plug and it has been fine ever since.

It could be anything from spark plug to water in your fuel. water settles to the bottom of the floats and wont be sucked up until after 1/4 throttle. Usually when CDI's go they burn out altogether.

I rebuilt the carbs no change, Unpluged the parking brake Rev limiter at the clutch and that is a totally different sound than the problem under acceleration. Oh yah I've drained & cleaned the tank also! Still nothing changes it at all.......
