Have any of you DS or banshee guys raced a Sparks 690 raptor w/ fcr carbs? If so how did you come out.

 

I haven't but I look foward to racing them when I get my big bore.

 

At LA dunes this weekend there was two sparks 690 one for sure had the FCR carbs on race gas and he was running with the well modded shees. no four stroke could touch him althought one 400ex was giving him a hell of a run. Some belive it is a 505 sparks kit. But the 690 could not touch the fast banshees and sure couldnt come close to the real fast banshees out there. The 690 really did surprise the hell out of me. He also put like 8 to 10 bikes on what is belived to be a 686 raptor. There are few bikes out there that people know for sure what is in them there are a lot of lies floating around the dunes, I seen some really fast so called stock bore raptors, 400ex and some (bull%^%#) just piped Banshees.

 

There are very few drag banshees around here, so I think I am safe. I know that drag banshees are untouchable. In your opinion, the Sparks 690 is equal to what type of banshees speed-wise. I am not talking about drag-only banshees. My riding buddy has a banshee that is fast, but I can get by him.

Rad I will compare them to the two Banshees I know what is done to them.

Both bikes are 350 on is 40 over the other is 60 over. Both ported by a local guy and yes the are ported for topend not a great bike to go trail riding on. One has out of frame drag pipes the other CPI inframes, both running 8 inch swingarm. wicked cool head intakes and carbs on alky and the sparks is about a bike to 2 bikes behind them but is still on race gas If he mad the switch to alky he would prob be right on the side of them. As for as the other Banshees out there its hard to really know whats done to them.
