I love my 240 it is such a different quad now so much torque sounds completly different i run a strit clamp on filter to so it is very troaty sounding the power is really strong from 4800 to about 8000 rpm once climbing a dune my tach flashed 12,600 a few times

the blaster does not have a rev limiter built into the cdi.what it does have is a t.o.r.s (throttle overide system) that is located on the top of the carb.it disconnects spark to the motor in case the throttle gets stuck in the "wide open" position.if it did have a rev limiter it would also have to have a way to measure rpm`s and there is nothing on the blaster that does that.

you can hook up a tach to the flywheel via a pickup plate and sensor, or on the sprk output side of the coil to reference a pulse trigger speed.
theres no way possible a pipe alone will add 10mph to a blaster, the gear ratio-overrev you pick up from an aftermarket pipe wont cut it. you have to regear to gain that much top speed. i had over 7k into my blaster and it topped out at 70mph...way too fast for a blaster any day, but, hey...its what we do.

as i said theres no way itll gain 10mph from a pipe alone it wont even gain 10hp from a pipe alone
