Which mark on the Flywheel is the TDC mark?
Ok, here's the story. I had a few friends help me put in a cam, and we lined the flywheel up on the "H" mark. I also adjusted my valves a few times on this mark, Is this the right mark? We never took the cam gear off the chain, just removed the cam from the gear while still attatched. Also, I have had no problems adjusting my valves, and if it wasn't TDC, wouldn't the feeler gauge not fit in one of the sides, exhaust or intake? The cam works great, I love it, It definately made a difference, it feels like it is in right. Did I do everything right?
Geez, the irony is, that I just got my plastic, and gas tank and everything on last night.

i think both are pretty close, Bob said something about the single line being TDC but I'm not totally sure. Don't feel bad, you'lll eventually get used to taking the plastic on and off. Mine is off and my bike is partially apart so I can replace the starter one way.

The "I" is for Ignition. It comes around just BEFORE the actual mark that you need. As Bartlet said, it is a single line.

Which mark on the Flywheel is the TDC mark?
Well, I checked my exhaust valves, since I can get to them without taking off the plastic, and they were in spec. I put the flywheel on the "H" mark, and checked them, then on the "I" mark, and they were both the same. I don't think I need to check the intake valve clearances. So from now on, which mark should I use, the "I", or the "H"?
