alright guys i think it would be REALLY realy cool to put a yz250 engine in the blaster... ive looked around and the yz250 looked like my best bet... its liquid cooolder more advanced engine with 50 extra cc's and they dont cost much... i decided a 425 was way to much so. but alot of ppl are asking WHY?? just get a shee!! but i think that blaster would be hella sweet! prolly wouldnt be as fast.. but it would be fun.. tell me it would be awesome! well post what you think about this.. and i will save money also because yz250s are pretty cheap and then ill extended it and all to support that extra power.

that would be a sweet project but i don't know how well the chassis would hold up
you would need new axle, longer armarms and swing arms tho and new shocks but it would be pretty kewl and light
it would really go

It would be cooler just to ride the yz250. Happened to me when I bought the RD350, I was honestly going to make a 50hp 2 stroke air cooled warrior. But the bike just looks so sweet and i fell in love.

yup it will fit rather easily.. ive already looked in to it. just gotta move the engine mounts.. so just a quick cut and then weld it up again where it needs to be should be fun..

Biggest problem I forsee is the plumbing at electrical. Hp wise though it will be equivilant to a 240 kit.. so why not just get one of them? Would probably be more reliable though, if you did everything perfect. Also, wont the kick starter be going the wrong way and youll have to cut the rear fender? really dunno which way a yz kick starter goes but I suspect backwards. I too was once wanted to do a transplant real bad but then I noticed how much money it would take to get it all going right and just gave up. You will need the YZ engine, Carbs, Custom exhaust, some sort of aftermarket filter setup, all the electronics, all the radiator and plumbing, It all can be done though because I have seen a blaster with a 250r engine in it. Guy didnt want to much for it either. It looked just like a baby banshee with the radiator mounted up and all.

yea yea.. well i can get the full yz engine setup.. nothing needed but to bolt it on there for about 1500 (carbs exhuast.. ect..) and rear fenders are coming off anyways but .. your right i belive it is backwards but not facing backwards just kicks the other way.. so i would kick it forward not backwards.. no problems tehre.. ive looked into it extensivly and havnt found any major problems yet so i think this will be pretty fun..why not get a 240 kit... cuz its not as good as a yz250 and ebcause anyonne can do that ..not everyone has a yz250 in there blaster.. not many ppl would care to.. but i think it woudl be a crazy moster quad!
