14mins started suffering ignition problems when the going got tough(i know my quad is a women now) It still faired well. As soon as i hit 3rd gear the reverse light would come on and reduce power. Shortly after the races were over it cleared up. lol

660 and under bolt on went to Biggerisbetter (alky for fuel)
660 and over went to Raptorridertx (alky and nittro for fuel)
open class went to Micheal web on that wicked K and T banshee

Dollarbills and Raptorboy673 were hitting big shots of nos. I do not remember the outcome of those 2.

Scooby is the man when he runs. No ifs ands or butts. If he choses to go to FSW's it is over for the rest of you. 1300 feet plays right into him. We raced 2 times. He jumped once (I must have scared him lol) and put about 100 feet on me. I was even for 300 feet and then boom he was gone. I was suffering ignition problems. ( not that it was much of a problem)

We had a great turnout. I have not counted yet. I had 48 T-shirts and all but 4 sold. Some great racing was going on. 1 wreck that could have been nasty turned out alright. (banshee's can really tumble thru the air)


Again i want to think everyone that came. A ggoood time was had by all.


NOW TO BOXMAN- He showed up at 1:30 in the morning with no shoes on. We gave him a pair. He was in a fragile state of mind so we all(raptor owners) decided not to embarras him to bad.( we had a butcher knife missing) and had a good time. Bombs and there owners like alky. Boxman- sent my shoes back.

Well it is about time someone put up some real info!!! good job 14mins. What exactly happend with Scoobs Turbo? How do you think Randy or DSmike would have run this time, would he have taken it again? That is if the bikes were performing the same as before. Were there any runs done on the Dyno? I havent heard any talk of it yet.

 

No dyno this time, if I heard correctly the bearing in Scooby's turbo went out. It's hard to tell how DSmike and randy would have done, we had a bunch of great running bikes there. Everyone has come a long way since the races in June.

 

i have never beat scooby in a race so i know i couldn't have beat him at aledo. i have out ran all the other 4 stroke bikes at atoka but scooby hasn't been there.


is everyone going to the red river next weekend? i am going to overhaul my bike and try to get some bugs worked out of it. maybe we all can meet up there to see how randy and I would have faired at aledo.



anyone know what causes a DS to pop and backfire under a load let me know.

Better build another 14, cause it sure sounds as if your a long way from making even the bottom end of the podium at FSW's.

I was there, what a blast! Boxman was fast! He outran everyone his share of times, any race with Chris isn't a fair race, though. Perfect day, great turnout. I have some pictures of mark's Tecate if anyone wants some, Mark had his Tecate up for sale for $275.00 at the event, and no, that's not a typo. He says to PM him if you're interested.

 

The Tecate kicked some banshee butt. Friday evening i installed v force reeds and clamp on K an N

1 correction- DOLLARBILLZ was the 660 and larger winner and NOT Raptorridertex.


How did 14 do????

1 lose to a 686 on Alky and NITTRO when it counted, boxman got me once, Roster got me 2 times, Biggerisbetter 1 or 2 and Dollarbillz 1 time.And Scooby once I won the other 80 rounds between us. Even John Force loses every now and then. Overall the Alky boys did not embarras me at all.

I never lost to a motor on gas 2 or 4 stroke so do not worry abot me sywtak i will be fine. Do you have a motor or job????? I was more concerned with getting every thing done that i neglected a few of my own things.(i forgot to regear from the dunes) Anyway you would be hard pressed to find anyone that has run against me or ridden my quad say i can not be a contender at 4SW's

The start line was loose. Everybody had to get thru it. Some better than others. I lost way to much ground there. I am not disapointeds in the least. I was not on top of my game and did well. I know what was wrong (ignition and gears) .
