JHAM
I've been playing guitar for 14 years and instruments in general for 19. I don't have a band now since it's harder than ever to find people who play.

Ok ill agree that ratm early stuff was the best(especially there self titled album)but still the battle at los angelos is awesome and it won a grammmy(even though they should have got it early for a diffrent album lol)

Manowar........Triumph of steel, what an album!

Listened to it in the car on the way in to work this morning. This thread has got me bringing out my old classics.

For the Tool fans, check out a band "a Perfect circle" album called "Mer De Noms"
Its got the Lead singer from Tool.......the guy is a genius.

Also glad to hear that "Temple of the dog" was mentioned......best tribute album.

I agree, Old RATM is far better........"killing in the name of","bullet in the head" that stuff rocks.

Anyone ever heard of old 80's metal bands called "Metal church","Savatage"..........old school is still the best!

I am very surprised that no one has even mentioned Limp Bizkit. I enjoy them, but dont think they will last.

McFly, I had forgot about "a perfect circle" that was a great group. I don't know why they disbanded, just like "Days of the New" is now "Tantric", and who knows what Chris Cornell is going to do next. He has been in 3 bands and tried solo all in the past 5 years.

He should have stayed with Soundgarden in my opinion. The grundge era never lasted beyond 96.
Matt Cameron the drummer joined Pearl Jam. I was so happy when I heard the news. I thought for sure that the original
PJ would be back. Unfortunately not

StaticX "Push It" & Slipknot "Wait & Bleed" are usually what I listen to before a race. Funny I think they are both on Heuvos3

Guys, I'm almost 40 and I'm diehard metal. Living in Vegas there's alot of country music. Boy that sucks worse than pop!

Used to be a big Van Halen fan but now favor Godsmack and Metallica.

ONE is my favorite song of all time!
