My friend has a 600 grizz and it wont idle. If you choke 1/2 way it will run fine. I let it warm up for 10 minutes and it back fires through the carb and exhaust. any ideals would greatly be appreciated. By the way what is the carb on this machine, it is a 98.

My grizz did the same thing. I had mine in mud and somehow got mud and water in the carb. We took the carb off and cleaned it out. It was unreal what came out of it. I would suggest your friend to trade his grizzly for either a new 660 or the new rincon. These 600 grizzlies ride like a rock and wont hold up! My opinion pound for pound one of the worst 4X4 ever made
