Default Need Porting advice!!

Time to get some porting work done on my 2001 Banshee. Only other mods currently are the toomey t-5 power kit, air box removed with 2:1 unifilter, re-jet, cool head and Vito's degree key. When I get the porting done I am going to add the Delta V-Force Reeds. I do lots of different riding....trails, woods, sand and a little drag racing with my buddies. Please help me on deciding who to have do the porting as there is no locals that can do it. Since I am going to have to ship the motor I just as well ship it to the best. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I have heard good things about ct racing.
I would also call Vito's and see if he dos Port jobs and if not find out who he recommends to do it.

Default Need Porting advice!!

Everyone laughed at me for having FTZ build my TT banshee motor. FTZ is the king of 250r's but not extremely experienced with banshees. When it was done and I had my t-5's, it was awesome. It made incredible torque for a banshee. I now have the t-3s for a little more topend. Still very happy with it.

My third banshee is being done at K&T. It is a little more severe than the 350cc TT engine. I decided to go straight to the best drag shop.

Trinity builds an awesome 420, but I wasn't impressed with their 350 kit.

I am going to have my playbike ported this winter. I am considering sending it to Pro-flo in New England. They are cheap and they specialize in the RD/RZ/Banshee engines. It has a dead spot right before the pipes due to too many performance bolt-ons and junk stock ports. It does run good enough to stand up in sixth with 270lbs of white boy on it.

Everyone will tell you to weld the crank when you have it ported. This is great advice.

You can modify your cages and get almost as much power as the Ram valve, Rad valve, or V-force at half the cost. My TT bike and the playbike have had FTZ's cage mods. I belive it is $115 with reeds.
