Razr are alright for trail, but flat suck in sand. If you are hill climbing on dirt, they should be fine. My banshee didn't like them (it kept trying to blow them off ). Overall, I didn't like them as well as shredders, holeshots, or fast trekkers. I had the 20inch.
If you increase tire size, you increase the final drive ratio. You don't really loose power, just acceleration. Some tires actually eat horsepower due to design and weight. Todays performance tires are light so they aren't as bad.

I went with the 22 inch Razr's in 6 ply on my Raptor because I had to have that extra 1 inch of ground clearance for trail riding. I also went to a 12 tooth front sprocket, which pretty much evened the gearing back to just slightly lower than stock. I can make it through a lot of snow that my 400ex with 22 inch Holeshots gets stuck in, so they are working great...
Good luck,
Lorrin

the Razr2's look pretty good... dunno if they hook up or not. I also like the 'Pure Sports-Realtors', and the Spider-Trac's. I've ridden spider-tracs on a 500 scrambler modded to hell and they hook up really nice, provide great traction, and are very tuff. Realtors are very similar to the Spider's. This was a 2001 500 4x4 scrammy and it could wheelie on sand with the Spideys.
