im looking to bye some new tire for my raptor and i would like to have your opinions on the best snow tire.

If u mean snow drags, then 4 SNO all the way. For dirt drags, also 4 SNO all the way. I dont remember which site, but they did a comparasion between the pro wedge and Maxxis 4 SNO. Not only did the Maxxis preform better in the snow, it knocked 2 tenths off their 300 foot drag time!!

Maxxis 4 sno best drag tire ever made

yes my buddy runs 4 snow on his drag banshee and they hoook reallly good.

Have you guy's seen any thing on how the 4-snow hooks on ice in comparison to the prowedge.I ice race and was just wondering.I was thinking of trying a set to see how they work.

8 would give you possibly more rubber for the tire to expand, but not by much. The 4 SNO's already expand up to 40% bigger during acceleration. Thats ALOT! Makes a 22 inch tire go to a 30.8 inch. Also reduces the need for shifting as often! 8 or 9 inch rim wouldnt make much of a difference, I guess its down to personal prefrence.
