Any info on the mojave vs blaster? speed? How reliable is the blaster really? Blaster brakes bad but do they get the job done Which one would you buy and why? THANKS

 

I own a blaster so i am going to recommend it. It is very reliable, like all two strokes you have to replace the gaskets one a year or so. The brakes are pretty bad but they do get the job done. I ride my quad very hard and it keeps on tickin will all the crashes i have had. I think top speed is round 55-65 on a blaster.

 

I had a Blaster for 5 years and didn't have the first problem with it. Kept gas and oil in it and greased it. It always started right up and ran like a top. Very fun quad for the price.

 

I own 2 Mojaves and think they are good quads. The Blaster is also a good quad but in different areas. I personally like the Mojave vs the Blaster because it is liquid-cool, better brakes, and because I just like how the feel. The Blaster is better for a mx type purpose where the Mojave is better for all-around riding. The Blaster is quicker of the line, but once the Mojave gets up to speed, it will give the Blaster a run for it's money. This is due to the wierd gearing on the Mojave and because it is a 4-stroke. It all depends on how you like to ride.
