Default Banshee Ignition Problems, please help

I'm looking for some help from any of you Banshee owners. For some reason, my key switch and my factory on/off switch do not work? The bike will start, but it will not shut off by turning the key to the off position or by turning the factory kill switch to the off position. I have checked and cleaned all the harness connections, but I'm still having no success.

The only thing that I could think of is; I recently took off the T.O.R.S., and so the harness connections for for the carb tops were removed, and nothing was done with those connections. I was thinking that maybe the wiring had to be changed to bypass the T.O.R.S., but I really don't know what the proper way to re-wire everything should be. I have also lost the use of my lights, so I'm assuming that whatever wiring malfunction I have may have shorted my lights too.

Please let me know if you have any information on what my problem is.

I am guessing you have a grounding problem. Use a meter to check the black wire going to the headlights to the frame. You should have zero resistance. If you give me your phone number, I will call and try to work it out.

Richard.

800, where have you been. I have posted 3-4 threads on my dyna box over the past month. Search for "dyna" and read the ones I posted.

Pro-flo offers the same box for $230 or $280 programmable.

It kicks ***!

Got the PM. Will call.
