TOID, first off, does the Raptor have the little 2" diameter star that bolts on the shift drum? If so, you can round the points off. Then you won't have to move the shifter as far to change gears. We all know how far the through is on Yamaha bikes. It gives a positive shift, and since doing this to my banshee I have yet to miss a shift. You must be careful cause if you take too much off, it can skip gear. My banshee is now quicker shifting than my 250x.
