Default mods for stock Raptor carbs???

Does anyone know if the stock CV carbs are worth modifying? In that case, does anyone actual work on them? I've heard of boring out stock carbs for the two-strokes, but I just wondered if anyone ever bothered modifying the carbs on their Raptor (as opposed to just getting ungodly expensive FCR kits).

Of course this would be way in the future for me, after a port and valve job. From what I've heard the stock CVs flow more than the stock head can handle anyways, but I was just thinking about mods after I get some headwork done...

take your carbs to a Harley Davidson speed shop. You will be amaized with the power increase for around $100.

Sounds like the same principal as using a carb spacer. Does this alter the power curve for the Rap? You think it's a real difference cleaning up the boot-to-head area?

I second this ! Robertson Cycle will modify your carbs (bore, lightened butterflys, etc) for @250.00.

I've heard of them......they don't like a lot of turbulence though.
