I would say to cut something else off... but that part of the anatomy is obviously already gone.

Default mods for stock Raptor carbs???

I contemplated this very procedure & I am glad to see somebody succeeded at it before me, experimentation gets exspensive! I will also try it with a set of currently useless Dyno jet springs & hope it helps.
I had tried making the airhole in the slides(the moon shaped hole next to the needle hole) slightly larger & it made the situation worse. I wanted to try making the hole smaller but never got around to it since adding mass to it is a challenge. I wanted to try different sized slides but Mikuni doesn't make them. I like the spring idea a whole lot more than dumping $700+ on a new carb. To date: Holeshot performance offers a 42mm single carb for $730, Edelbrock will soon offer a 36x42mm single carb induction kit for $660, & we all know the FCR's are $800+
