Just got the battery in. Soon as soon as I clean out the gas tank ill tell you what a banshee would feel like if it where a lot lighter and only had 2 wheels. No plates though so im guess I will just put around the block, maybe give it a lil gas when noone is lookin.

Air cooled banshee engine with 28mm carbs in a light weight bike that looks like a baby cruiser. Its sort of a pre crotch rocket. Back then they just called it a pocket rocket cause it is so small. Didnt get to ride it though because traffic was so bad I didnt make it before the shop closed. Always tomorow......
Anyone know of a company that sells a banshee turbo?

Its not really a banshee engine, its where the banshee engine came from. About the same hp too, 39hp but it has no expansion chambers in the pipes, aftermarket pipes make it a whole lot meaner and get you around 52hp or so.
First came TZR250 or whatever the heck they called it,
then came RD250
then came RD350
then came RD400
then came RZ350 (RD engine but liquid cooled and with a powervalve + catalytic convertor)
then the offshoot the "banshee" with a placid version of the RZ350s engine (RZ made 60+hp stock)
then came RZ500 (one mean mama jama, its 2 RZ engines with 250ccs a piece stuck together making over 90hp)
All of em were fast, mostly because they were so friggen light. RD400 is a stroked RD350 engine I believe, not sure though.
You can make any of them wicked fast because they are a two stroke but they become very difficult to manage on the street.
Always hear stories of people having their RD350s race ported and they bust windows in shops and only have two speeds, Tire shredding wheelie and spitting sputtering bogging then stalling.
If you ever want a cheap sport bike you can probably pick up a near perfect RD350 for under a grand. RD250s is slower but even cheaper, RD400 is rarer and costs more. RZ350 costs a good bit but requires less modification to be fast (wont see one under 2 or 3 grand) and the RZ500 is down right wicked, it has a lot of room to grow and could probably be bored/stroked to over 800ccs making more horsepower than you would ever want between your legs, but you wont find one (never sold in USA).
