Well the kickstart has quit rattling.....it fell off! Where too find another kickstart reasonably? P.S. Pushstarting sucks.

ebay has everything. You can get a kickstart for about 40 bucks there. Or get a billet one for 100 or so...

Don't you love that rattling. I hear that a new one from Yamaha isn't very expensive, but I have never priced it.

 

Nothing is as satisfying as the sound of a kick start a rattlin in the mornin! I dont think my Banshee would be the same with out that rattle.. It just makes me think there is so many things wrong until I realize its just that stupid kicker..

Jam a heavier grease in the kick starter and that will stop the rattling for a while... That what I put on mine. I do once a yr.

 

The way to fix it is to replace the o-ring that the kickstarter swings on.
Any o-ring the same diameter should work. I also stretched out the spring a little bit so it will not swing so loosely.
