Wouldnt an rz500 motor be able to stroke to 1140 ccs? or does the 570 kit have a new cylinder which would negate the powervalve. That would be very very wicked, a 1140 banshee on alcy with a turbo. Can anyone say death with? what would that make? 600hp? 700hp? Would be more like a crown, anyone who wants to be kind can ride it but when he dies the crown gets passed on. Or you could leave it on the bike and ride a wheelie with throttle alone at 250mph right before you go over backwards and die.

Well all I can say is the RZ 350 is the original pocket rocket and if Yamaha would sell them today, they would sell everyone they make just like the Banshee.

That would be a smack down. If I can talk my dad into buying pipes (he payed for the bike and jacked the title before I could sign it), I want to race a banshee on my RD. I love the idea of putting pipes on it. 13 hp, that would be like gaining 130 hp in a mustang by adding pipes. No way in heck it will ever get ported or anything though, upping the compression wouldnt be far fetched but since I dont hold the title it is doomed to a life of being only 39hp (52 if we get the pipes and filter).

The RZ 350 would smack the banshee silly and would have time for tea at the finish line.

iamchad2k5, you got it, thats what I was thinking of. Too bad the pics dont work. My other idea is to stuff a nitro burning big twin Harley in a streached quad frame. I know people that build these engines, and also a man down in southern AZ who could do the frame for me, if I only had the bucks. Maybe after the IT industry comes back
That would put new meaning in Four Stroke Wars! American Iron back on top on American soil, too cool.

How much does an RZ weigh?
test weight (w/half-tank fuel) = 371lb.
I remember the RD350 from the early seventies. They were quick and had a clean nice looking air cooled motor.
I could be wrong, but I don't think it would be as quick as the water cooled RZ 350.
I do know that at that time period that the RZ350 had the killer looks but could not keep up with my a Kawasaki 500 triple.
