I don't think your 1982 550 Seca would win against a Kawasaki 500 triple.
I don't think it would either.

KiwiCraig has alot of great RZ info on his site too.

RZ350's were first produced in '84 and they only sold for 2 years in the USA, '84 & '85. The rest of the world got em alot longer, 1991 was the last year RZ 350's were produced.

52Hp rating was for the USA RZ's. The rest of the world didnt have to use catalytic converters and these RZ's put out 62HP in stock form.

Somewhere on MacDizzy's website there is info on a RZ500 motor stuffed into a QuadZilla frame.

My Icon at this moment.

The legendary Kawasaki 500 triple. I am proud to have owned one.

The power delivery was amazing.

1976, Chocolate brown

Stock for a while and then I piped it.

Slick looking black expansion chambers. It sounded so good when you were winding it out. Smoked really good when smoking was in.

It would run the best in the late evening when the air was cool.

Well, there's another one I wish I would have kept.

YES the RZ road racing guys were porting and piping thier RZ's as soon as they bought em. Stu Toomey made his name in the biz making RZ pipes way before he built his first set of Banshee pipes.
