What kind of mileage do you Kodiak owners get. I'm interested in the 400 and the 450 and was curious how far I could travel on a tank. Thanks

 

A couple of weeks ago we went on a long hard trail ride, on the way home I ran out of gas with a mile left to go. I had ridden my 450 55.4 miles to that point. My friends '02 griz had about a half gallon left when he filled it up the next day. So I think I can get 70 or more miles to a tank by backing off a little and using the reserve. Plenty for enough for one day!

I can get 75miles per tank on mine. But it all depends on the terrain you're ridding.

 

It will depend mostly on how much you're gunning the throttle. I would say however that it gets pretty good mileage.

 

hey my 2000 kodiak (dual range) can get 100km a tank but i blew the gust out of my mufler

 

I have an 02 Kodiak. During a trip last summer I was able to get 140kms before switching to the reserve. It was not hard terrain. Pretty slow trail riding.
