What would you say is the top speed of an 00 kodiak with a 155 pound rider. What about acceleration? Will it hang with a wolverine?
I have a 00 big bear, and i know it will out run a rancher and foreman and my kodiak will out run the bear. so i was wondering how it compares to the wolverine. i have ridden one but it was about a year ago, and i cant remember how fast it was. thanks for the info.

Both quads being stock, and with equal weighted riders the Wolv will inch ahead on top. However the Kodiak is WAY under sized on the main jet, the OEM air filter is a real drag on it and it weighs more than the Wolv.
Then if the Wolv gets mods too it is another matter again.

Love My Kodiak

My kodiak beat a stock wolverine when it was still stock. Both 02's.
We ran for a good quarter mile.

57 on my 2000 kodiak.
2000 wolverine cant even dream of keeping up on flat ground. might be better in woods, but not nearly as fast.
