AlkyBurninX,

Glad to hear your OK.

I wear my helmet most of the time, I will admit I am not perfect on this.

I was thinking about putting a picture of myself doing a small jump on the Raptor on my photo page.
I don't have a helmet on. I think I will leave that picture off.

Glad too hear you are ok, but make no mistake, you are lucky. I was just thinking about how your head must be pounding....then read how is WAS pounding. It will probably hurt for a couple of days (mine did). I have messed up not wearing a helmet in the past, but was lucky like you. I have lost a friend that was'nt wearing a helmet. The bottom line is it is selfesh of oneself not too wear a helmet at all times......when you are gone, you are gone....but those that are left behind are those that suffer. Sorry too go on a rant, but this really hits home with me. Come back faster and safer....peace.

Glad you will be alright.

We are pretty lax at the trailer park on helmets. Not a great idea when racing side by side at 70mph. We should all try to do better.

14mins, you should require every rider to sign an insurance liability waiver and make helmets mandatory to reduce your legal exposure.

Glad to hear your doing better. I do the same thing you did. I am bad to be tuning and just jump on and take a quick ride. I guess this should be a lesson for all of us. I look forward to meeting you as one of the local riders. Maybe after you heal up this spring we can get the local group together and go up to St Joes and ride.

Take care

Sorry to hear about your mishap bud, but thankfully you will be ok. I used to race street bikes and im used to wearing helmets, so ive always got one on when riding the atv. Like you said, you never know when or where. Take care friend.

VERY sorry to hear about your accident! I hope you recover quickly. Thanks for sharing. I am going to have my husband read this. He wears his, but not when he is just testing something out or in the yard!? I, too, am glad you're well enough to be able to share!

Take care!
