BEST (performance/price) raptor slip on???
#4
It is not the lightest thing out there, nor does it weigh the most. I have dynoed as high as 58.? with a mbrp pipe. Dyno numbers really suck if you think about them for 1 minute. Example- Trinity's 686 is suppose to be 63 hp. I could never get a dyno above 44hp. That is a hugh difference, Why??? CT pipe is suppose to be 49.?hp, yet we only saw 35.6 on the dyno, again a huge difference, Why?? I wish i knew the answer. I think that all dyno's should be within 5 percent. Maybe the shops should dyno them like the customers do, knobby tires, dirty air filters etc.

I do know which pipe to AVOID - stay away from the FMF powercore-4. Mine has literally fallen apart - very poor quality.
I'm waiting for the big brown truck to deliver a new Yoshimura. Seems the Yosh or the GYTR are very well recommended - we'll see !?
Dirt Wheels on-line has the Raptor pipe shoot-off.
Good luck.

I had a gyrt once. I like it. It produced a smooth dyno chart. Chris had a t-4 at the time, it made a little more peak hp, but the graph was better on the gyrt

Every slip on should be within a couple h.p of each other. Eveyone is going to tell you to get this or that or stay away from this or that but get what looksand sounds good to you.
Yea and we all know what those dirtwheels articles are worth.
