A buddy gave me an old blaster frame that was set up to run a YZ 80 motor,it had been blown, and the motor removed,plus a lot of parts were missing,got most everything I need to make a rolling chassis,just need the motor, has any one done a project like this, and can you offer any tips/ advice on things to do (and not do) to make this a decent ride for my son to use as a back up. I mainly plan to bring it along in case we are hassled by 'the man',so my son will have a legal 80cc quad to ride (he is 12,but way too big for a mini quad,he's been riding a 300ex for over a year) Plus some casual racing,where he is limited to 90cc and under motor size. Just looking for any advice on best way to set it up,or best motor to use. Also,if anyone has a bike motor or wrecked bike laying around, let me know,I could be talked into taking it off your hands!!!
