Default Am I to big for a Blaster?

Right now you can get a 400ex cheaper than a Warrior, 400ex is the better deal unless you ride deep woods or mountains or something where reverse and ground clearance is a must. Warriors are sporty, but not pure sport. It takes about 450-600 dollars into the engine to make it fast as the competition (400ex and z400). Blaster, eh, only reason they are fast is because usually the people riding them are real light, put a big guy on it and its not so fast any more. Stock for stock its the same as a warrior but it takes to mods better, as do all 2 strokes. I wouldnt be supprised though if you put all you can into each motor and warrior would probably come out ahead, 500cc stroker on alcy and NOS, but thats more money than I would spend on a quad.

jakel i aggree with you 100percent except for maby the put all the money in to it you can get a 290 or 280 kit from trinity add nos and alky you have a fast quad...a very unreliable one but fast or even badblaster blaster is a pretty fast 240 with alky he could beat piped shees and without he can take stock shees but hey any quad can be made to go fast with lots of money i'm sure a 500 nos/alky warrior would also be fast

One 400EX please,

I not knocking the Warrior, the Blaster, the 300Ex, but still with your size you will be happier and in the long run will end up spending less money if the first purchase is more towards the correct purchase.

Its still your call though.

If you're going to pay for a 400ex, you might as well get a Z-400 or KFX400. I'm not sure if Suzuki or Kawasaki are offering any kind of incentives or not but those are the quads I would look at! JMO Good Luck on your choice and purchase!!!!!!!!!!!!! XR

Guys, common, you went from blaster or 300ex to 400ex or z400, your confusing the poor kid. you dont need to be 16 to sit on a quad, i asy go to the dealer and sit on one, then atleast you'l no what your dealing with.

I am 6'00 210 and I ride my blaster fine. Id like bigger but thats life when you are broke. Why dont you look used for a blaster a few years old for under $1500(may need alittle work but your new one will in a few months anyways) and then you can use it for a year or 2 and sell it for about the same. And buy a newer 400ex or what not later.
