Default 01 raptor has leaky radiator.

As if I didnt have enough troubles with this 01.. the starter one-way, the rear shock came apart, the busted transmission, etc..

Since I am tearing it down for the tranny rebuild I decided to try and find out where my radiator fluid leak is coming from, I though maybe one of the hoses had a pinhole but come to find after I took the plastic off its the radiator. It has a big wet spot about in the middle toward the left hand side when looking from the front..

Now I have soldered a few radiators on cars before but I am having a hard time finding the leak, in the cars you used a hand pump to pressurize the system but I have the motor allmost out, and I dont want to start it and cause more damage to my tranny. Guess I could loop one of the rad hoses around but still I dont have one of them pumps handy anymore. Anyone have any ideas??

Anyone got any ideas? The radiator is undamaged, I have never flipped this bike and all the little fins are just about perfect so its gonna be tough to find.

Take the radiator out and find two plugs for the open holes where the hoses connect. In one of the plugs make a place to attach some kind of air fitting. Submerge the radiator underwater and pump it up with air and look for the bubbles.

Anything that will seal, even if you could find a large cork. It won't have to be super tight, what max psi is about 15lbs, you just want it to seal well.
