Blaster
#1
My friend just had his blaster rebuilt, and it runs like chit. It idles ok, but it will only ride for like a 1/4 and boggs out. It seems like it is getting to much gass, but if you pull the choke when it boggs it will help a little. I believe it has a toomey and it has a K&N filter with open air box. The jets were put back to a 230, which i think is stock. What to do, what to do?

k if you pull in the choke it it helps its not getting enough gas meaning your 2 lean which would make sense cause if you have a toomey you shouldn't be running stock jets jet bigger maby not to a 310 like they suggest but if it helps to pull the choke go fatter in the jetting
correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure thats how it works

Toomey kits come with a 310. for a reason. change it before you seize it! some folks even run bigger than that.
if you cant find a jet, toomey has a website and he'll sell you one. sounds like thats the problem.....
