I still run a modified endcap. If I ever change pipes it will be for a quieter sound, just for a change. But I have yet to be Impressed with the aftermarket pipes vs. the endcap that is on my quad.
If someone wants to buy a aftermarket pipe they should look for looks, and sound, Because they all are pretty much the same in H.P.IMO

Dynos are different, locations vary results, temp, elevation etc. Optional equipment for dynamometers include air/fuel ratio modules to keep track of that and dial in jetting, and a Atmospheric sensing module compensator to try and equalize results from varying locations..
..I am looking at a Dynojet ATV/Kart Dyno with a Motorcycle "attachment" and an air-fuel ratio module. I think there are many advantages. Eliminating road testing, means a big break in "garage liability insurance". Plus Thursday night Dyno runs, tuning, testing aftermarket products etc.
. . "Results may vary" but it is a valuable and useful tool unlike any other.....
As far as pipes go, c'mon, you gotta know that many of these exhausts are just louder and lighter, and not any more powerful at all...

20% with 1.5 on top is the most reasonable sounding gain ive heard yet. getting to 50hp is almost a 50% gain. That would be like putting pipes on a 350hp corvette and getting jumping to 525 hp. It just aint gonna happen. Thats a lie so big it leaves me wondering why they havent been sued.
Forgot to mention, on my RD you go from 39 to 52 hp with the addition of pipes, but thats because its a two stroke and the stock ones have NO expansion chambers and arent tuned, how do they expain it for a four stroke?
