I can't believe it.....my hubby just said he would load us all up and take me to 4 Stroke Wars!!!!

I told him he must be smokin' somethin'!!!!

I know I am just a female person with a Warrior with all bolt-ons....but I would give my right arm to go and watch all you guys have fun!!!!

30 hours drive time...bean-n-weenies and spam.....a GPS so you don't get lost (or you find your way back AFTER you get lost)...

It's an awful long way to go to not even be able to race! You know for a fact I'll be sitting on the sidelines chomping at the bit to make a run up the hill!

 

C'mon down and race!!! Your not going to win, But neither am I!! Hell I'm going to just be at GLAMIS!! and shred as many dunes as I can with 55 gallons of Methonal. Heck I know I won't win , but I can garrantee you for the first 20 feet, I will be right there givin 'em he!!. YeeeeeHawwww.

Oh heck! I wasn't talkin' about winning, that's for darn sure... You're absolutely right Bigger! My poor husband has been listening to me talk about Glamis since I joined this forum. It would be awesome just to have all the nicknames from this forum become REAL people, not to mention witnessing, firsthand, what really went on at the 2nd Annual FSW!!! I should probably do some searches to see what camping there is, etc. We were just gonna throw the bikes and a tent in the Toyotomo and head down for the weekend.

Yep, just about 30 hours round trip....900+ miles, 14 hours down there (well, I think that is according to some distance stats site that he found). I've made it down in a truck pulling a load of glu-lam beams in less time, I think. Heehee Sounds like fun though, doesn't it???

My better half will be out there. She won't be on a 4 stroke, but she will be there waiting to play on the hill.

We had asked this same question about 6 months ago, but KingRa Ra Ra......(one of these days I will be able to say that word) shot it down. Its ok though, she doesn't own her 4stroke anymore.

She goes by the name DuneDancer on these forums.

You guys are right! Here I've been wanting to go...my hubby is kind enough to offer to take me there, we both can get the time off work (I think), my brother offered to take the kids, so......we're goin' !!!!! If nothing else, we'll take lots of good pictures. I wonder if King Rap got all the volunteers he needs for signup, etc.??? well, that's another topic.
